An independent review of Rubicon's Total Channel Control® technology has concluded it is "clearly an industry leader in the irrigation marketplace".

The review, conducted by U.S. based consulting firm Westin Engineering, looked at the application of Total Channel Control® in the Goulburn-Murray Irrigation District (GMID) in Northern Victoria, Australia. Using industry best practice as the baseline for the review, Westin assessed the features of Rubicon's

Total Channel Control® and SCADA systems as applied to the GMID for performance, maintainability and scalability.

Total Channel Control® was found to exceed best industry practice on all of the 10 performance criteria assessed.

Westin concluded Total Channel Control® was ideal for large irrigation districts: "The performance of the system was impressive. The ordering system, configuration tools, and control algorithm performed seamlessly to maximize channel capacity and meet scheduled deliveries while minimizing propagation of disturbances to the downstream gate and water loss".
