Rubicon worked with systems engineering specialist, University of Melbourne Dean of Engineering Professor Iven Mareels to invent a new model to describe the behavior of water in open canals.
Rather than being based on theoretical first principles it was derived from real data, gathered in the field.
Fundamentally the new technology captures how water really behaves, not how algorithms and equations say it should behave.
